Anne Brobyn  CEO and Founder

A 25-year veteran of the tourism industry, Anne was born and raised in Toronto but enjoyed living in St. Vincent & the Grenadines for 10 years where she founded Hibiscus Tours International Ltd. As the former market development officer for the Caribbean Tourism Organization, Anne has proven to be an inspiring leader and knowledgeable resource for everything Caribbean. Hibiscus International is dedicated to creating innovative services, which promote sustainability in the Caribbean Region.

Founder of two corporate divisions, THE Travel School (1998) and the Open House Real Estate Group (2006) Anne now assists investors, developers and vacation homebuyers seeking property anywhere in the Caribbean and Central America. Anne is committed to promoting an understanding and celebration of Caribbean cultures and has received numerous awards for her efforts including: Innovative Teacher of the Year Award (Humber College), the Professional Integrity Award (Starwood Hotels through the Travel Media Association of Canada), Development of Peace Through Tourism Award (United Nations) and most recently was nominated for Business Woman of the Year (Barrie Examiner’s Women in Business). Early in her career, Anne became a pioneer in the development of Life Skills in Canada and was inspired to write the book “Independence: A Life Skills Guide for Teens” published by the Child Welfare League of America for over 26 years. Anne volunteers her time organizing a youth advisory council in her region.  Known throughout the media as the Caribbean Queen, Anne has certainly earned her title!

Kirk Sharpley, a licensed real estate agent in Ontario, Canada joined Hibiscus International in 2008 to head up the sales team for the Open House Real Estate Group, a division of Hibiscus International. With over 30 years experience in marketing and sales, several international marketing awards and three seasons taping a barbeque travel show in the Caribbean, Kirk has brought new and creative energy to the business.

Kirk was a major influence in bringing Scotiabank on board as an active partner with Hibiscus International.  Kirk continues to develop relationships with key developers and brokers throughout the Caribbean while heading up a team of Independent Sales Associates who promote the services of Hibiscus International to their key clients.
